Summary

In the history of humanity, from what can be considered today as the first civilization in the chronology of great civilizations: the Sumerian civilization followed by ancient Egypt, the Aegean world, the awakening of the Asia (China and India) until contemporary times, the definition of man changes according to the schools, the doctrines, the eras and even the currents of thought which are born, grow and unfold in time. The human phenomenon becomes difficult and even impossible to define. At the end of all these scholarly exercises, one question remains: What is Man? Man, on the definitional plane, from the creation to the present day, has he remained the same? If it is true that we can not talk about the human sciences without talking about the social sciences, then an answer to this question will help us to try to understand our current societies.

Summary

Under pressure, emotion and other vicissitudes of life, the human being often tends to analyze the consequences of the facts, without looking at the causes. This is perhaps what happens today to those who take a look, even stealthily, on the socio-economic and cultural realities of Africa. Colonization and neocolonialism are certainly pointed at in the sociological realities and behaviors of the African peoples. In this collective work, proof of the solidarity spirit of Cameroonian researchers, the authors look at different aspects of education in their country. From general considerations to particular aspects, from curriculum to curriculum, with specific objectives and profiles to the disciplines taught, education in Cameroon is dissected and, ultimately, there is a strong suspicion of the influence of internal and external factors whose sole concern is the perpetuation of colonial action. This complex situation makes it necessary to reflect on the concept Independence, or on the actual content to give to this term. Beyond this undeniable cause, the results on the everyday life of the people prove, every day, a little more frightful. This book is a draft contribution to the constant struggle for a quality education system that can awaken citizens' consciences and guarantee a better future for younger generations. It is of interest to all actors in African education systems, students, public officials, policymakers and international organizations.

Summary

This book is a review of the book "The pan-Africanist idea by Obiang Nguema" which was published by a group of African researchers. Through this review, the author invites African scholars to support the Pan-Africanist initiatives of the Equatorial Guinean leader and several other deserving leaders of the African cause through their systematic commitment to African universities and society. He also hopes that this book can be a source of inspiration for the other Heads of State and the actors of the various Pan-African institutions. This is the substance of a work that reads as a living testimony of a pharaonic work that should serve as an example, source of inspiration and stimulus for other African leaders. This work, part of the Pan-African-Action paradigm, makes President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, a Pharaoh Builder of the African Renaissance.

Summary

The Interuniversity Journal of Studies and Action-Researches for the Development of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (Called in french Cahiers Inter-Universitaires d’Etudes et de Recherche-Actions pour le Développement de l’Afrique, des Caraïbes et du Pacifique - CIERAD-ACP) . (CIERAD-ACP) is an international scientific project of the Societé Savante Cheikh Anta Diop / SS-CAD ( University of Douala-Cameroon). The objective of this project, based on South / South and North / South collaborations, is to promote the updating and densification of scientific and technical knowledge on societal and ecological dynamics in the ACP. For, the body of existing scientific and technical knowledge of these heterogeneous and complex dynamics suffer from quantitative and qualitative insufficiencies, then from aging linked to a low turnover rate. This reality substantially compromises the contribution of these corpora to the process of ACP development. To this end, the general policy of CIERAD-ACP, a transformation of the Collection Studies and Research-Actions for the Development of Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (CERAD-ACP) created in 2015, is to promote scientific Pan-Africanism. which involves the active participation of senior and junior researchers from both the South and the North in ACP development. It is therefore a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary platform for restoring the results of original research related to field experiments, theoretical reflections and associated innovations, which can inform political decision-making. This initiative is therefore part of a process of strengthening institutional and programmatic frameworks, and then improving the planning and managerial capacities of developing countries in all fields. This strategic-resilient vision has allowed the initiative to obtain a broad consensus and to register the support of researchers from some twenty countries in the South and North. This Thematic Volume is part of this vision. A simple patchwork of seemingly heterogeneous publications, it nevertheless serves as a hologram of mental territory for a group of intellectuals with pan-Africanist accents, and sharing the desire to free the ACP from servitude of classical discursive schemas on development. Also, standing up against the single and simplifying thought, the contributors engage in an exercise of cross-fertilization of transdisciplinary scientific knowledge intended to illuminate the linkage of their geographical-cultural space of belonging to the plural and complex thought that a successful integration into the vortex of globalization. Concerned with economic growth, democratic modernization as well as human rights, attached to ethics, sustainability, humanitarianism and ekistics, the contributions show that the mechanisms and mechanisms of production / The counter production of development in the ACP is, more than ever, their breeding ground for action research at the beginning of the twenty-first century. For the Man of Sciences, this soil is none other than anthropiscence, as the most stimulating conceptual quintessence of the ideal background, socio-economic and ethnocultural signatures, then matrices of potentialities and capabilities of a society to produce and / or counterproduce positive socio-spatial transformations leading to development. Anthropiscence, a major heuristic innovation of this issue of the CIERAD-ACP, is therefore emerging as what the utopia of the perfect arrangement is to spatial planning, consciousness to phenomenology, reflexive modernization to society of vulnerability, the fantasy to love: simply, the stubborn dream of Aimé Césaire, the energy of reassembly.

Summary

Vocational training, in certain academic and geographical spaces, seems to be becoming a fashion trend. From high school to high school, the promoters get started. This proliferation, with the justified purpose, hides other designs and does not always serve the recipients. This book is an invitation to the culture of vocational training alternately. That's why he's doing all the engineering. Even if the field of tourism is taken as illustrative case, the proposed approach, here, can be applied in other trades. We must rethink vocational training by implementing alternation between training organizations and companies. If one trains for the job, the employer must not be absent in the design, conduct and completion of the training. If this is done for the company, it is in a dynamic of back and forth that the learner must be formed between the two poles of training namely: the training organization and the company. Work-linked vocational training is the real answer to training-employment adequacy. It focuses mainly on skills acquisition and its main indicators are employability and / or self-employment. The learner, in professional immersion, alternates, is in a production situation. And in this momentum, he makes sit down: knowledge, know-how and know-how. And the world of work does not demand more.
