A life of Poems

Résumé

" A life of Poems is a product of my everyday life. Perhaps, like every African country, Cameroon is a nest of plights, promiscuity in all its genres, dictatorship, underdevelopment and other social ills. Thus, i come forth with this collection of poems to depict what would probably come out of the mouth of any conscious Cameroonian of my age. Also, i came to realize as i grew up, that the world around me was not really acting the way it should; we talk about homosexuality, oppression of the masses, lack of development and corruption by our "religious" leaders. So, motivation to write these poems rose from the desire to see justice and equity rise above the dominating injustices and disequilibrium in the society in which i live and everywhere such ills are present. I wish, therefore, through my work, "contribute in the building of a better world".

L'auteur

"Mbody lucien is a young Cameroonian, aged 25. He had his "A" and "O" Levels in the Horizon Bilingual College in Douala. After what, he went to the University of Buea where he got his LLB in Law. He is the third child in a family of four children, has a fiance with whom he has a son of two years old. Right now, he is a teacher in Collège IESB in Douala.
