An Outlook of

Résumé

In ancient Cameroon, rulers were miror of cultural values of hard work, competence, communautarism, living together, sharing or solidarity and social virtues of the nation. They were models of righteouness and examplarity. Through their behaviour and their management, one has material proofs that they love their country. It was motivating for the nation. Nowadays anyway, it is obvious that most of them are responsibles of the spread of sublife culture in the modern cameroonian society. Sublife culture is synonym of deep or extreme poverty of cameroonian populations, of anarchy, corruption... A country like ‘’Cameroun du Renouveau’’ is a perfect illusration of everyday people’s sublife culture. Populations live without identity card, potable water, electricity, with bad and spoiled roads, hospitals which seem to be mortuaries. Here, health indicators are among the worst one on african continent ; ethnocentrism, endemic police and lawyer corruption, endemic youth unemployment, social reproduction of a local autocratic system and bad habits… Cameroonian people just expect living in dignity. In order to come out from what we have called ‘’national cameroonian culture of sublife and misery’’, cameroonian communities need to sit together and discuss. Welcome in the ethnography of Cameroonian sublife culture in presents days.
